🏆 2025 Best Low Kick Point Stick Awards | North Prostock

Low kick point sticks are all about speed, precision, and scoring in tight — and in the pro stock world, there’s no shortage of elite-level twigs made for the game’s most dangerous shooters. At North Prostock, we live and breathe pro sticks, so we put the top low kick point sticks of 2025 through their paces to bring you this year’s best.

Whether you're ripping one off the rush or sniping top shelf from the slot, here are our official rankings — based on feel, release, build quality, durability, and a little personal bias 😎.

Please note we are comparing PRO STOCK not RETAIL!

🥇 1st Place: True HZRDUS 9X4

The Best Low Kick Stick of 2025

The True HZRDUS 9X4 is everything we want in a low kick stick — elite balance, phenomenal feel, and a lightweight, pro-ready build. It has a crisp release, a super stable blade, and feels incredibly connected to the puck. What pushed it over the top for us? It's made in North America 🇨🇦, which adds serious credibility and consistency to its manufacturing. Simply put, this stick feels like it was built for NHL shooters — because it was.

✅ Best overall feel

✅ Balanced and quick

✅ Made in North America

❌ Not always easy to find

🏒 If you're hunting for the perfect mix of feel, power, and build quality — this is the one.

🎖️ Honorable Mention for 1st: BLCKSTCK Pro Model 1

The Best Budget-Friendly Sniper Stick

We couldn’t talk about the best without giving props to the BLCKSTCK Pro Model 1 — a true sleeper pick. It feels incredibly like a cross between a Bauer Twitch and a CCM Trigger 10 Pro, but costs a fraction of the price. A retail Twitch runs $449 CAD (~$329 USD), while the BLCKSTCK Pro Model 1 is only $169 CAD (~$125 USD) — and still performs like a pro stock stick. It features a pro-style tactile grip, a reinforced blade, and upgraded puck feel and accuracy. No gimmicks, no marketing fluff — just serious value.

✅ Unreal value for performance

✅ Enhanced blade for better feel & durability

✅ Great for players wanting pro specs without the pro price

💰 Hands-down the best bang for your buck in 2025.

🥈 2nd Place: CCM Ribcor Trigger 9 Pro

Pure Pop, With a Catch

The Trigger 9 Pro continues CCM's tradition of making low kick weapons with lightning-fast pop. The puck comes off clean, the feel is excellent, and it’s one of the best sticks for getting shots off under pressure. But as always with super light sticks, that explosive pop doesn’t last as long as we’d like. It’s reasonably durable for its weight class, but you’ll eventually notice a dip in that crisp release.

✅ Incredible pop and feel

✅ Light and agile

❌ Pop fades over time with heavy use

⚠️ Elite when it’s fresh — just keep an extra one on standby.

🥉 3rd Place: Bauer Twitch

Lightning in a Blade — With a Fragile Side

The Twitch is one of the fastest-releasing sticks we’ve ever tested. It has an insane puck feel, super snappy kick, and makes it almost too easy to get shots off in tight. But there’s a major trade-off: durability. The Twitch can’t take a ton of abuse, and that’s why it drops to third place. Still, for players who want a surgical release and elite hands, it’s a pure sniper’s tool.

✅ Silky feel, elite quick release

❌ Fragile under stress

❌ Slightly less shot power than others

Deadly in the offensive zone — just handle it with care.

4️⃣ Bauer Vapor FlyLite

The FlyLite is still one of Bauer’s best low kick sticks, with a quick release and featherlight construction. It offers similar performance to the Twitch but lacks the same x-factor. Like many Bauer low kick sticks, it also suffers from durability issues, especially at the blade.

✅ Smooth feel, solid release

❌ Durability knocks it down the list

Only just slightly less good than the Twitch.

5️⃣ Warrior Covert QR6 Pro

We have massive respect for Warrior, especially since their pro stock sticks are made in Mexico 🇲🇽 — a detail many players love. But while the QR6 Pro is a solid option with respectable feel and quick release, we’ve never truly connected with the Covert QR line. In our opinion, the Warrior LX3 Pro (mid-kick) is one of the best sticks out there — but QR just doesn’t hit the same notes.

✅ Durable, well-built, and consistent

✅ Made in Mexico

❌ Feel is subjective — and for us, it doesn’t top the list

🧪 A solid choice, but not our go-to from Warrior.

💀 Dead Last: CCM Ribcor VIZION

“What were they thinking?”

We hate to be this harsh, but the CCM VIZION lands firmly at the bottom of our list — and not by a small margin. While CCM is normally a top-tier brand (we love the Trigger 10 Pro), the Vizion feels like a complete miss.

Let’s start with the “innovative” top-handle shape — we found it uncomfortable, awkward, and unnecessary. It felt more like a forced marketing gimmick than a genuine performance upgrade. It disrupted our grip on the stick and didn’t enhance control in any meaningful way.

And the worst part? Durability. We had multiple breakages during light testing. For a stick in the pro stock category, that’s unacceptable. Whether it was the shaft, blade, or feel — the whole thing just fell flat.

❌ Gimmicky handle design

❌ Worst durability in the group

❌ Lacked the signature Ribcor feel

😬 Sorry CCM — you dropped the ball on this one.

🏁 Final Thoughts

Low kick sticks are all about speed, finesse, and reaction time, and in 2025, players have some seriously elite choices.

🥇 Our Winner:

True HZRDUS 9X4 — feel, quality, balance, and North American craftsmanship make this the #1 low kick stick of the year.

💰 Best Value:

BLCKSTCK Pro Model 1 — Top performance for under half the price. No-brainer.
